Distribution of Clothing and Blankets

Every year, thousands of destitute and needy flock to the Tikana Sahib in Goniana Mandi for new clothing and blankets, and some even make requests for bedding.

And as per the principles set by Bhai Kanhaiya Ji, Mahant Kahan Singh Ji, the kind and generous Sant that he is, accumulates bales and bales of blankets and cartons full of warm sweaters and various other types of clothing to distribute to the poor and the needy.

There are times, especially in the winter when the needy arrive in hordes, but Mahant Sahib sends them all back, fulfilled. All the sevadaars and assistants, support Mahant Sahib’s cause with full vigor and encourage people to wait or come back the next day, if more clothing is arriving a day or so late.

Most of these people are from other faiths.
